Wife accused of killing husband at Magna martial arts studio


MAGNA, Utah — A lady was arrested Tuesday and will likely be charged with homicide following the demise of her husband at a martial arts studio in Magna.

Unified police say Cynthia Vincent, 41, known as 911 round 12:30 a.m. to say she had shot her husband on the studio location at 9145 West Magna Major Road as a result of her husband, Michael, had assaulted her.

When officers arrived at Vincent’s Home of Goju, they discovered Michael Vincent’s physique simply inside the primary entrance of the studio, with a revolver laying subsequent to him. Cynthia Vincent confirmed the gun was the weapon she had used to shoot her husband.

Cynthia Vincent stated Michael strangled her earlier than she retrieved a gun to “defend herself,” in response to the possible trigger affidavit. She claimed her husband lunged at her, main her to shoot him one time.
