Police investigating hate-motivated incident – KitchenerToday.com


On Friday at round 4:30 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to the realm of King Avenue South and Willis Means in Waterloo for a report of an assault. 

The male sufferer instructed officers he was approached by one other male on the LRT platform who engaged him in a dialog. 

The suspect proceeded to assault the sufferer earlier than fleeing the scene. 

The sufferer sustained non-life-threatening accidents. 

The suspect is described as male, black, carrying a winter camouflage jacket, gray sweater, and darkish pants. 

Officers are treating this as a hate-motivated incident and are persevering with with their investigation.
